Village Pizza & Pasta is a staple of Tallahassee. I’ve been there numerous times over 15 years and I enjoy it every time. That said, there are some dishes that totally outshine some others. If I’m sticking around to eat, I always skip the pizza in favor of one of the homemade pasta dishes. They are fantastic, fresh and the sauces are excellent. It’s worth a drive to Village Pizza & Pasta for tasty Italian food.
If I have any complaints, it’s the salad that comes with dinner. The presentation bugs me, with the Ken’s dressing served on the plate in a sealed container. On the bright side, that means the dressing is fresh. On the down side, it looks terrible. Overall, the salad is standard and fine for a warm up, although on this last trip I had a couple of questionable lettuce pieces that I put to the side.
