Last Sunday my wife and I headed out to a romantic evening at The Melting Pot for some fondue and relaxation. We’ve been huge fans of it for a long time, but we haven’t been able to make it there in a while. It was just as good as I remembered, and The Melting Pot even managed to improve in some areas.
Blue Bell, listen up. Normally, I love Blue Bell ice cream. Normally it’s exactly what it says on the container. Normally you bend, shift and twist the original dessert into an awesome ice cream. I’m not sure what happened this time, but Rockslide Brownie totally misses the mark.
According to the website, Blue Bell’s newest flavor Rockslide Brownie is “a dark chocolate ice cream with pieces of chocolate brownies, miniature marshmallows, chopped almonds, pecans and walnuts, all surrounded by a rich caramel swirl.” It sounds good, but like a book, we shouldn’t judge the ice cream by its cover evidently.

Ready. Set. Cupcake! Review
By William Kristoph
I love getting an email about of the blue asking me to test a product, especially when that product is chocolate cupcake mix and chocolate buttercream frosting. On Saturday, I took a box of Ready. Set. Cupcake batter and frosting out of my freezer and got working on baking a dozen cupcakes for my wife, my mother-in-law and me to enjoy. Ready. Set. Cupcake! promises all natural ingredients and very minimal cleanup. It’s frozen and in piping bags, so there’s no mess to clean up.
After my quick dinner before FSU Softball’s Opening Day last Friday, I wanted something sweet. Normally I prefer ice cream over frozen yogurt. Last Friday, though, I wanted to try out Yogurt Mountain since I had heard good things about it. I checked out Yogurt Mountain and was pleasantly surprised.
