What Should Tallahassee Eat? – The Tin Cow

The Tin Cow (Tallahassee, FL) Review

By William Kristoph

I’m going to have to control how much I gush over The Tin Cow. My experience was that good. Located in the old AJs, The Tin Cow has a plethora of burger, drink and shake options. Build your own or pick from the menu, The Tin Cow aims to satisfy every burger craving. I went on a Tuesday around 11:45am to avoid any crowds. The hostess greeted and seated me immediately.

What Should Tallahassee Eat? – Tropical Smoothie Cafe

By William Kristoph

Tropical Smoothie Cafe on North Magnolia Drive has quick service, is always clean and has some excellent non-smoothie choices for a grab-n-go lunch. Fast food serves a purpose, to get the patron in and out of the establishment as quickly as possible. Tropical Smoothie is not quite that fast, but thanks to fresh sandwich ingredients and a great Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie it’s a great way to avoid the fast food burger and fries combo.

You get inspired and then your pick up some bacon on the way home from work, bake it in the oven and then dump it into a coffee cake. Then you wonder why you never thought of this before. It’s sweet, it’s savory. It’s not overpowering. It looks appetizing and not like a greasy pile of cake. It’s pretty good stuff!
