William Kristoph’s Favorite Sports

I love most sports, but I love everything Florida State Seminoles, New York Mets and New York Jets. As a child growing up in New England, I fell in love with the Mets and Jets, both of which were excellent teams in mid-1980’s. Who could beat the likes of Dwight Gooden, Keith Hernandez, Gary Carter or Mookie Wilson? Even with the Jets, Ken O’Brien had a cannon for an arm and the defense was awesome, “The New York Sack Exchange”. It was a great time to be a fan. Now? Not so much, but I love them as losers just as much as winners.

As for my Seminoles, attending FSU is what put them on my map. I grew up a Miami Hurricanes fan, but when I visited the campus it didn’t feel like a good fit for me. FSU, on the other hand, felt right. My fanaticism starts there and continues until the day I die. Specifically, I’m a huge fan of FSU Baseball, FSU Softball and, of course, FSU Football. I enjoy them so much, I ran for 7 years. Although, I’ve retired that particular site since coverage of FSU hast vastly improved, I still like writing about the Noles from time to time. If I don’t do that here, I’ll be sure to link it to wherever those posts end up.
