Piggy’s BBQ (Tallahassee, FL) Review
When my father-in-law and I spent some time checking out Food Network last weekend, and a recurring theme was barbecue, we both knew what we wanted for lunch the next day. He asked me if there was something good locally and I suggested Piggy’s BBQ I had been there a long time ago and it was right up the road. Late Saturday morning I fired up Piggy’s website and started poking through the menu with my wife.

Piggy’s BBQ Online Ordering Process
The Piggy’s BBQ website is one of the best restaurant websites I visited. Not only did everything work properly on an iPad, but it was also easy to navigate. After a few minutes of deliberation, we decided on a bunch of food. I noticed that online ordering was available, so we filled everything out and sent off the payment. The site takes a few minutes to update 3 steps, the final of which is a pickup time confirmed by the store. I drove over to Piggy’s at the appropriate time, waited a few moments for pickup and was on my way back home. It took all of the willpower I had to not sneak a bite of this or that on the way home.
My Favorite BBQ In Tallahassee
I’m not going to get into an argument about the best barbecue in Tallahassee. But, my favorite is definitely Piggy’s BBQ. We ordered a #3 Family Meal, which consisted of 1 full rack of St. Louis Ribs, Pulled Pork and 3 sides (we went with Fried Okra, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Mac ‘N’ Cheese). We also added an order of Brisket to our giant lunch. My wife, in-laws and I thought each meat was perfectly cooked and each side was good to great. My unexpected joy of the meal were the Cheesy Biscuits which were hot and full of buttery and cheesy flavor.
My overall experience at Piggy’s BBQ was great. They’re definitely worth a visit if you’re craving some BBQ in Tallahassee. I rated Piggy’s “I Like It” on Urbanspoon and I’ll be back soon for another To-Go order. They also were named “Best BBQ in Tallahassee” by the Tallahassee Food Bloggers Association.

Best in Tallahassee? A bold statement Mr. Kristoph. I am glad you liked it, I have been meaning to try their brisket.
I didn’t say it, the TFBA did.
Although I did vote them #1.
Yeah yeah yeah, blame the TFBA. Hey, at least they got the pizza category correct. #AmIRite
So much fail. #MIKESSTONEBAKEDFOREVER
