Graco Pack ‘N Play Travel Play Yard with Newborn Napper Station LX Review
By William Kristoph
When my wife and I did our first mostly clueless spin around Toys R Us months ago looking for things we needed when our son arrived, we did not consider a Pack ‘N Play until the end of our trip.
“Do we really need that?” / “Beats me. It’s probably good to have if we go somewhere.”
Thank God we were lucky enough to receive it as a gift. The Graco Pack ‘n Play Playard with Newborn Napper Station LX – Bermuda is a lifesaver for the first few nights of new parent anxiety thanks to the Newborn Napper Station. The Newborn Napper was perfect for the first few nights at home, when my wife and I slept on the couches with our son nearby. The Diaper Changing Station meant we didn’t have to go far or bend over too much to change him in the middle of those first nights. It was an excellent experience.
After a couple of nights we graduated to the crib where our son sleeps like a champ, so the Pack ‘N Play is used mostly during the day for naps and when mom or dad need a rest from holding our new addition. Either way, it’s easily portable thanks to the wheels and collapses down in to next to nothing for when we want to travel. So far, the Graco Pack ‘N Play LX is the most important “non-essential” baby item we own!
