The phrase “Biting off more than I can chew” is totally applicable here. Yes, I’ve partnered up with bunch of other local bloggers to help start the Tallahassee Food Bloggers Association (#TFBA). Over the last few months I’ve met a bunch of really nifty local bloggers, mainly through Twitter, who share a passion for food. We decided to put a name on our group of foodies and the TFBA is here.
So far we have two missions:
- Promote our blogs through the TFBA website.
- Have our own awards since we were not fond of many of the choices that won “Best of Tallahassee” in the Tallahassee Magazine.
We’ll see where it goes from there.There are plenty of bright, enthusiastic people involved that will make as much of this as we decide. It should be lots of fun for readers and local foodies. Hopefully, we can help promote the local places that we like to frequent and benefit Tallahassee too. Agreed! Joe and I went to Tomato Land and Lucy & Leo’s today. The steak sandwich from Tomato Land can be summed up in one word, wow. I haven’t had a cupcake yet…
