Ah, after a long drought of no holidays, Labor Day comes to the rescue of Tallahassee workers and workers across America. Many of us will fire up our grills, smokers and barbecues. We’ll eat some burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, cole slaw, potato salad and well, you get the idea. Others will run to stores to take advantage of yet another great American sale. It’s a day of rest (hopefully).
Enjoy the day off. Enjoy a ride through Tom Brown Park or a drive through Tallahassee’s canopy roads. Take a short drive to one of the wonderful small towns nearby. Or just enjoy family at home. No matter the choice, we live in a great city for enjoying a beautiful end-of-summer day.
